I am creating my tomorrow. I have been for 37 years although I do it a little differently now. I have learned how to let go and make peace with all of the things that use to make me feel bad. I have learned how to fill myself with a love so great that it fuels my soul and propels me into the world with inspiration and love and gratitude and vision. And I’m doing it all with no resistance or worry or insecurity, only love and gratitude and confidence that I am creating a me that will impact this universe by helping to connect this energy, this positive, love energy.
I know that may sound funny to some. It is easy to dismiss what you are unaware of as nonsense if it does not match YOUR present sense. We are all doing it, whether we are aware of it or not… we are all connecting energy- good or bad to everything and everyone. You can’t avoid it. You are not shielded by ignorance or intelligence or disbelief or even belief. You choose your energy and send it out every second. We are affecting our children and our parents, our neighbors and our peers. We are creating the world right now. Live it as you want it to be. Stop hiding behind shame and guilt and fear and regret. Your life, our lives are each so valuable to the big picture.
This morning I was inspired by something I have never witnessed before. I was on a highway traveling to work, moving slowly in traffic. I saw an ambulance in the distance coming slowly in our direction from behind. Instinctively I turned my steering wheel towards the side of the road although couldn’t move too much because we were all bumper-to-bumper. My first thought was “oh, man… we are so tight. If only I could move over just a little bit…” and I did move just a little bit and then the car in front of me did the same and the one in front of him and the ones next to me and behind and in front of me. We all spread just a little bit and made just enough room for the ambulance to slowly but smoothly carry the person inside safely though the traffic jam.
It happened very quickly and to some might not seem like such an event to tell about. But I ask you, when was the last time you saw a large group of people, strangers- who may be late or angry or seemingly too self absorbed to care, do just a little with no hesitation or debate for a greater cause? How beautiful to witness. How beautiful an event to be a part of.
I am grateful and will continue to see the world as a place where we are connecting this powerful loving energy. We can create the world we would like if we could each just do a little bit to help everyday.
